Hi Everyone

I am really disappointed as my mom's TRV was rejected today and I am asking your help for re applying .

I live in Dubai and I myself am waiting for PR , have sent my passport and already got decision made status on my E case. I had planned to go to Canada with my mom in October as I have an RN exam plus for my landing formalities .

So instead of showing my dad's bank statements ,as he is the sponsor for my mom here in Dubai , I included my statements in the application process , along with return tickets for her and me , mentioned that purpose is to accompany me for a visit and then back .

Her travel history is not good as she she has never been out of Dubai , just to her home country for regular visits. That's is one of the reasons they mentioned in the letter for rejection along with the purpose of visit .

I am thinking of re applying again and trying my luck , and am thinking this time if mom and dad both apply together for a visit , and we can write a letter stating that my dad has a business here since 12 years with good income and he will come back along with mom ?

What do you think ??

Any scope ?

What is the purpose of your mother travelling with you to Canada, did you state in your application people/places you intend to visit. Does she have any relatives/friends who could write an invitation letter! If your purpose to visit Canada in October relates to your PR status and an exam (also, maybe am confused, but once your land in Canada as a PR aren't your supposed to stay in Canada for the required duration)- why would your mother who isn't well travelled need to go with you...this is prob why the TRV was rejected, so my recommendation would be to showcase all the places/people you will visit in Canada and explain in detail why your mother is going with you. You could re-apply if you can document stronger reasons for her to visit Canada and ties to her country of residence/ Or wait until you are settled in Canada as a PR and then invite both your parents to visit YOU at your new home!

Yes, probably you are right, the purpose of visit wasn't strong enough among other factors, I am thinking of getting both my mom and dad to apply as initially only my mom had applied alone. Dad has a good business here for 12 -13 years and they both have been living since 35 years here. Dad's strong buidness may convince the VO that thy will come back .Although cant change there travel history , but maybe try this way , and write a good cover letter, plus get an invitation letter from my brother who is there.
