The key here is the item listed on IMM5484. - Any additional documents required by the responsible visa office
The checklist you get from the country-specific website may contain additional documents required for the application.

I would recommend you to print and compare the two checklists and when there is a difference between them, (i.e. some requirements are not listed in the generic form IMM5484 but in the country specific checklist) then comply to the country-specific requirements. Then include both checklists in your package. This ensures you cover all bases.

Alternatively, they can also apply online.
