hi i just want to ask if whats the meaning of the email ive got from vfs telling that "my processed visa application has sent to courier" and they will deliver it 78 hrs from now. since we applied for a trv last aug 5 2013 and its 6months already here at canada embassy manila philippines. do you think it is refused or approved? since my wife already undrrgone medical last yr september. please send me some idea about the email of cvac thanka you

i have a question regarding my TRV refused, and they sent me this reasons,

=You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident.
In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

*Your travel history
*Your current employment situation
*Your personal assets and financial status

=I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets, to carry out your stated
purpose in going to Canada or to maintain yourself while in Canada and to effect your departure.

-You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your / your host's income and assets.


It's my first time to apply and they did refused my application. and now i just want to know regarding the personal assets, it is possible to use my Deed of Donation? it is my parent ties (land and vehicle). herein they referred me to as the DONEE. and it was approved by the law office and Atty.
and this i want to use as my proof of my assets its named to me.

now about my financial status, i guess i have enough funds of my length of my stay, about CAD 4,000. for 3 months to visit my friend, who is the one who invited me.

and the about my travel history, i did not yet have a travel. it is my first time to travel for now, and i had now my itinerary. i want to reapply agian as soon as possible.

please let me know the doc. I should arrange so that i can get visa...thanks hoping for positive reply....thanks

When they mean "assets" is that you have enough assets that it would make it difficult for you to leave them behind, thus making an illegal stay less probable. Is the deed of donation enough? Can't tell, it doesn't hurt, that's for sure.

Your travel history was mentioned because there is none, so it couldn't help you at all. This only means your other support documentation has to be stronger.

Four thousand for 3 months sounds like a little tight for visiting Canada. People live here with that amount when they are studying, but not visiting, if you are visiting you will have expenses, much more than 1.25K per month.

You said your friend invited you? Then a better bet would be for him to give you some documentation. Tell him to write an invitation letter explaining all the details of your visit, as well tell him to send you some bank accounts that show you will have enough money for 3 months.

If it was me I would also attach a complete schedule of what are you going to do on your visit and how are you going to spend your money.

I am applying for my trv to visit my husband in Canada. My spousal immigration is still under process. To show my funds in Pakistan,I am showing a joint account owned by me and my mother. This account has a handsome sum of money.

My question is : is it ok to show this account or should I show an account which is owned solely by me? The reason I want to show the joint account is cz it has a good amount of money

Both are OK, as a joint account means it is also your money. I would show both to make your application stronger.

Vince. No point in applying until your situation changes significantly. The problem with showing assets that you haven't earned is that it doesn't strengthen your reasons to return. Having finances and assets that are yours, history of travel for pleasure, etc. shows that you have a good job that provides enough money for living, saving and pleasure. Being established like this is the best way to show you have strong ties and are less likely to overstay.

after two rejecton, it seems this time canada visa approved my visa. i am not really sure. they have sent me letter requesting my orginal passport.
I have recieved the follwoing letter:

'' This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We require your passport to finalize processing your application.

Passport requirements
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport.
Your passport must be received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada within 30 days from the date of this letter. Failure
to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please ensure that a copy of this letter is included with your
passport.''

almost identical. Actully in the last application, i have forgotten to attach the invitation letter.
I havent yet sent my passport. online status still showing application open and final decision has not been yet done.

but since they refused me twice and the problem is my travel history and employment situation, can i ask a suggestion if it is a good idea if i will across country for my travel history? for at least 14 days in hong-kong? and then about my employment is it okay if i will not include to the trv application since i am done to my work contract? then all the expenses will be shouldered of my partner and we are same-sex couple(gay). what is the idea you so that you can help me? tnc

Vince. I am not sure how much good two weeks in HK will be. Do you need a visa to travel there? Not sure if I understand your point about employment. Do you mean that you will not mention in this application that your employment contract is finished? The VO has all the information that you previously supplied, so misrepresentation is not a good plan and can earn a two year ban from Canada. Having a friend pay all your expenses strengthens your ties to them, not your home country. It is all about showing you have good
Prospects in your own country, strong reasons to return home.

Hello?? Think about your suggestion as if you were the VO. This person has no job, cannot afford to support himself on holiday in Canada, but plans to get married there then leave his spouse and return home where there is no source of income. What would you do as the Visa Officer?

Hi!! I am living in yemen. Pakistani national and want to know how to prove dual intent to visa officer?i am applying trv online.

Yemens trv applications r processed in Abu Dhabi embassy and biometrics r given there too. Now, my question is when to give the biometric? Right when I apply? Or when they request my passprt( in case of stamping visa) ..

Cz I don't want to waste money on an air ticket right now ,I don't even know if they r Gina accept my application.

Money that is in the account of someone not accompanying you will not be a strong position. How can you prove what is yours? Would it raise questions why it was not an account in yours and your spouse's name?
If you can show which deposits you made it might help. If you are applying for a temporary visa you still have to prove you have solid reasons to return home. Having a well paying job is a good reason. Good luck
