Dear All,

Please share your knowledge about these refusal reasons and give suitable solutions. Was applied from Saudi Arabia.

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a Temporary Resident. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

1:- TRAVEL HISTORY
(In reference to first point, am currently residing and doing job in multinational firm in Saudi Arabia. I have traveled only to Bahrain other than my home and residing countries which was mentioned clearly in my application.)

2:- IMMIGRATION STATUS IN COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE
(For second point, am having Resident and Work Visa Permit, copies of all related documents were attached with application.)

As per now, it doesn't make me sense.

The refusal reasons are correct based on CIC's assessment of your application.

1. CIC is looking for travel to countries requiring visas (e.g. US, UK, Europe).
2. Your status in your country of residency is temporary which is seen as a weak tie and makes CIC concerned that you may have plans to remain in Canada long term. You also haven't demonstrated strong enough ties either to your country or residence or your country of origin.

I've been seeing a lot of denials for expats in KSA applying to visit Canada. Seems like there may have been several cases of violations coming from expats in Saudi.

The problem is that residency visas are usually only valid for a year and are renewed annually. Did you attach a leave certificate from your employer stating that you are leaving on vacation for XX days and are expected to return on XX day? You could also mention in the letter that your calculated end of service benefit of the amount X will be forfeited if you do not return to work?

Thanks Simplyaddo.

I had attached my employment letter addressed to Canadian Embassy and mentioned below.

My Current Designation.
My Monthly Gross Salary.
My Annual vacation's period of stay in Canada (From & To)

But end of service benefits (Amount) wasn't mentioned.
