TRV refused, reapplied for Study Permit

Hi Everyone,
So here it goes.
I got admission for a 4 month course in Ryerson university. R Cheng institute of continuing education.
I applied for a TRV (my mistake) considering it is a course with duration less than 6 months. Offline VFS Chandigarh. The VFS representative labeled the envelope as SX1 (another mistake)
Biometric done on 11th same reflects online on 12th JULY.
Correspondence letter for biometric recieved on 17th July.
Refusal if TRV on 18th July.
All the above steps were done by myself without any agent. My mistake.

Next....
Finally got an ICCRC agent in my hometown at Vadodara.
Reapplied for a study permit on 14th August

Recieved online submission and 1 acknowledgement letter on 14th August.
1 ghost update email on 15th August

Classes starts on 5th September.

Hope for the best.

Question is - is anyone sailing in the same boat?

Dont see any mistake in your original application, sx1 was the correct visa type. What was the refusal reason?

That wa correct for less than six month course you dont need a study permit and sx1 is visitor visa with permission to complete a short course within 6 month in Canada, so there was nothing wrong with your application.

You need to work on those rejection reasons.

Replied with a study permit along with a strong SOP and supporting documents.
I pray everyone gets their Visa soon.

I got admission for applied degree (Diploma - petroleum engineering) in SAIT which is 2 years program for Jan 2020 intake. Is there any impact on Visa because I already have masters degree in Petroleum Geophysics . Do I stand any chance of an visa approval?
