Yes you must say that you have been refused a visa to Canada before. Perhaps other refusals too not sure. No need to explain the reasons.

Not sure of the exact form or you can attach other info usually.

So I will write a letter stating the possible answers to that denial reason and upload under client info. Am i correct?
Do i need to make my purpose of travel letter descriptive with reason why will I return back?

I am reapplying after my first application was rejected and I wish to clarify your concerns about my trip. I would like to travel to Canada for a short visit to meet my elder sister, xxxxx. She is a Permanent Resident of Canada, and has invited me (invitation attached). I haven't seen my sister for over four years as I was busy finishing my undergrad degree and working.

I have strong ties to India in the form of my job and my extended family here. I am currently working as a Senior Software Engineer in Manhattan Associates (Address of Office ), since March 2017. I worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions from July 2014 - March 2017. I have attached a letter of employment that talks about my job duties with my current employer.

My career is just beginning to take off and I would not jeopardize it by overstaying in Canada. I lead a very comfortable life in India and have no intention of giving it all up. I have attached my last six pay statements to help illustrate the point that I'm earning a high wage in India.

My parents live in India and as their only son, I wish to be close to them as they get older.

I'm relatively young and unmarried and I don't yet own any property in India. This is my first time travelling abroad so I can't show any travel history either. However, I have to start somewhere, and I trust that I have been able to make a strong case for getting a Canadian TRV.

I plan to travel from 12th July 2019 to 26th July 2019.

As stated in the invitation letter, my sister will be responsible for food and lodging. I will bear all my other expenses, and I have submitted financial documentation to show that I can easily support myself for the few weeks that I'm in Canada.

If you have any questions or concerns, or require any further documentation, please contact me.

Attached:

1. Pay statements

2. Employer Reference Letter

3. Invitation from my sister

I'll be honest - your chances of getting a visa are quite low. Your letter is not very convincing, and I don't see why the visa officer would feel that you won't overstay. You didn't talk about your marriage, or any real reason for coming back to India. Simply having a job in India is not enough - the letter just doesn't feel convincing.

I have made some changes, but at the end of the day, you have to be the one proving that you will come back. I don't get that at all from your letter.

If you are OK with getting two rejections, then go ahead and reapply. Do remember that multiple rejections will affect all future applications.

I would remove the itinerary, but it's not a big deal, leave it in if you like. Other than that, I can't think of anything. You still may get refused, but this letter at least gives you a chance because it does sound like you will return to India.

Submit and hope for the best. Good luck.

Thank you 21Goose for all the help. Since 2nd visa application failure can cause a huge impact in future, will it be a wise decision , to ask a good travel agent to process my visa this time?

Doesn't really matter. Your application didn't have typos or procedural errors in the first place, so a travel agent won't add much value. They can't do anything in the visa process, they will just forward the documents you give them.

Also, many travel agents will give you all sorts of terrible advice (make fake documents etc), so be careful about that. Remember that you are ultimately responsible for your application and cannot blame it on bad advice.

Right now, the worst case for you is a second denial. You haven't committed misrepresentation, you haven't lied, you haven't faked documents. Two denials are undoubtedly worse than one, but being banned for misrep is a LOT worse.

A good representative can help by looking over the whole application, but I don't know if you have time to find a good one. It's up to you, really.

Thanks for the detailed view over travel agent. I will talk to my company's travel department as they process alot of L1A and B1. Hope they will give alot better service. If they are able to tell me something, which I overlooked, I may use them, else apply by my own.

The very last question, which is bugging me. Please help
The document that i have drafted with your help, is cover letter right? Or its purpose of travel? Or both documents are same?
If they are different, should i move itinerary to purpose of travel?

One letter is enough.
