Well for starters you shouldn’t have booked any tickets before your visa was approved, but anyway.

Your profile is pretty decent, IMO, but someone here shared an article about TRV approval rates out of India being less than 50%, so I am guessing this is specific to your region/visa office.

Go ahead and reapply with a cover letter and requirements addressing the refusal points. I think this is just about reframing and rearranging your application more clearly, to leave zero doubt about you needing to stay in Canada temporarily.

the TRV refusal won’t have an effect on your EE profile.

Aren't return flight tickets a pre requisite? As per my understanding, it was required for the visa visa process..

No, they’re not. As you now know, paid flight tickets are no guarantee of a visa. Unfortunately, it does say that on the document checklist, but it’s not clearly stated that it’s a suggestion and not a requirement.

I’ve never included flight tickets with my TRV applications and I’d gotten approved each time.

While the TRV won't affect your EE profile, having an active EE profile may have entered into the consideration of the visa officer.

Submitting a cover letter to address the concerns is a good idea. Good luck.

@k.h.p. @bellaluna
Guys I have below queries:

1. In case my TRV gets refused the 2nd time, will it affect my PR application?

2. I have NOI from OINP and it is under assessment stage. If I get nomination soon, I will receive 600 points and then get an ITA. Before submitting my EE application, do I declare about my TRV refusal?

3. While reapplying for TRV, if I change my purpose from " visiting friends " to "tourism " . Can it have any impact on my application ?

Thanks for your support.

1. Only if you don’t declare the refusals

2. You MUST declare any past visa applications and refusals.

3. Not really.
