TRV REFUSAL RECONSIDERATION REQUEST

Hi, I have applied for TRV visa for me, my wife and two sons. All got visa except my elder son (12 yrs). Visa was was refused because the purpose of the visit to Canada was not consistent with a temporary stay given the details I provided in his application Now I am planing to apply for reconsideration including. Mistakenly, I forgot to include some information on his Visa application (IMM5257). Can I update those information and upload during reconsideration along with other supporting documents? Dosn't it have any negative impact?

You can try. Reconsideration isn’t a formal process so may be easier to reapply. Did the officer make an error in law because you say you forgot to include some information which means that you didn’t submit a complete profile. IRCC may not reconsider it. How old is other son?

Other son is 4 year. Actually, in employment section, I forgot to mention his studies period in USA for 3 years. I have mentioned only for India. I think by mentioning it, it will show some traveling history of my son.

Ok. If you add new information or documents then you are not asking for a reconsideration but need to apply for a new study permit. Reconsideration is to prove that VO made an error in the law so you need to argue that the application was complete. So you need to address reasons for refusal without new documentations for reconsideration.
