TRV Refusal in just couple hours

now I am planning to convert his visa to spouse work permit as I got post graduation work permit.

Given the initial refusal and the issuance of a single entry visa, I'd suspect (only guessing of course) that CIC expects you to try something like this. I wouldn't be surprised if your file is flagged for something like this.

Good catch. The fact that the spouse was not considered for a multiple TRV is significant.

Maybe cic will drag out or refuse their future plans. Every once in a while you have to cheer for cic.

Hello,

I have invited my husband from India to visit me on my convocation in Canada as I have completed my studies. We have applied online on 11th May, 2016 in the afternoon and received his refusal next day in the Morning. I was shocked because it was very instant. I wonder do they check our application or not. I am really very sad that how can they behave very cereless. We have prepare our documentation very properly. there is no chance to get refusal.

They rejected with common two reasons:

1. Travel history (Though my husband has traveled United states twice in last year- we have attached his flight tickets, boarding passes and his hotel stay in USA)
2. Family ties in Canada and country of residence (He provided all his employment letter to return to his work, bank balance worth $11000 CAD)

I don't understand what else they want?? We are leaving separate from almost last 2 years. Now I am planning to apply again with cover letter because I don't think they review my application.

Its happened to me too , its really upsetting , but not in our control . Just let you know that you are not alone ,we are in same boat .
