TRV Refusal for 2 times - Need your suggestions

Hi, Friends here is my TRV story timelines:

1st Application: Online mode :

• Submitted online application on May 5th
• Biometrics was done May 11th
• Visa refusal message on May 19th

Refusal reason:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.- Actually, I have applied this TRV visa for attending a conference called All Hands by one of the notch company, I have been invited being a valued contributor( i have provided my portfolio related documents in application). I am not an employee to this company. So while applying I have selected my purpose of visit as a business, once that is selected I have shown with 4 categories of business visits
• I am not satisfied that you have a legitimate business purpose in Canada.
So, when I selected business purpose I have shown with 4 options and I selected one which is applicable to my visit. an option which I selected is: I want to conduct international business activities in Canada, but will not enter into the canadian labour market

I have provided the below documents for application :

• Invitation letter from the company invited
• Cover letter stating my profile and my purpose of the trip
• Air tickets
• Hotel booking
• day by day plan
• event schedule
• NOC and leave a letter from my employer
• pay stubs from my employer
• employment letter from my employer
• bank statements with 7K CAD, although the entire trip is sponsoring by a company invited
• Income tax statements for the last 2 years
• travel history docs ( stamps from Singapore, Indonesia)
• A document was written about my contributor activities and attachments related to my documents showing I am just a contributor
• A property document which was jointly registered with my brother

So for my first application selecting that business-related option has been impacted my refusal, apart from this i have stated my strong ties to the country as I am getting married in few months and also holding the job and properties.

Any views on my first application what has made refusal?

2nd Application: Paper mode :

• • Submitted paper application at VFS on May 23rd
  • Visa refusal on June 11th

Refusal Reason :

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your travel history

for the first time application, I haven't got this reason but I am wondering about the travel history, as I have been to Singapore, Indonesia and also attached proofs, any views?

• I am not satisfied that you have truthfully answered all questions in the documents you submitted in support of your application, as required by subsection 16(1) of the IRPA. Specifically, I am not satisfied that the following information is truthful. You didn't declare your previous visa refusal to the USA.

The big mistake that I did in the second-time application is to approach a travel agent who can review my application, previous Canada and US refusals and make a strong application, but this has been totally reversed. The travel agent had made my cover letter into 2 pages with all the important points highlighted to application.

The only thing that he didn't mention is about the questions related to any previous visa refusal to Canada or any other country - he had mentioned about the Canada first application refusal but not about the US rejections which I had it in the previous year. But I have mentioned this in first time application. When I asked the travel agent said nothing to worry.

I have submitted the same documents what I have enclosed in the first application except for a few changes in a cover letter , and all the documents have been notarized as this is a paper application


Although the travel has been went off, I cant reapply again this was the fifth refusal including US refusals.

I am totally worried about future applications, I have a goal to apply for PR visa in future, not sure what's going happen. really tensed about my future visas

First thing everyone will suggest is...apply for gcms notes. Do that for sure.

Gcms notes contain detailed notes why your visa got rejected. The reason we get on refusal mail are usualy generic.
There are two ways to apply.
One is...if you know someone from Canada, they can request gcms notes on your behalf. Fee is 5 cad.
Other way is, there are website like getgcms something , which will request for gcms notes on your behalf. They charge around 19 dollars

It takes 1 month to get gcms notes. I applied for them , when my first application was denied on 25th may. Still no response. Since i didnt had time, i reapplied

You can re-apply, but i would suggest you to request your GCMS first and then clear all the reasons of rejection and then re-apply.

You should feel lucky that you weren’t banned from Canada for 5 years for misinterpretation.
NEVER lie on a visa application.

And for the other rejection reason - Travel history. They only look for travel history if the purpose of travel is weak. Which I am assuming was for the VO. Also, travel history they look for is generally US UK Europe.
