Varies by office. You should check processing times in CIC, there you can filter by office.

It depends on your location. If you sent your application to a busier visa office - it usually takes a little bit longer than the average processing date. plus, the date given is just for reference only, it's not guaranteed.

Ive got negative reply within 5 working days...with foll reasons:

travel history
family ties
purpose of visit
docum to support host

as for family ties - our family is in India nly....n prpose of visit was 2 accompany sis...nly for 20 days ...for accomd settlemt etc.....yet i have recieved rejected visa lttr....though genuine app...as usual done by cic...
