Follow the link at this topic:
Apply for a visitor visa

Before you plan your visit, you should find out if you need a visa to enter Canada. If you do not need a visa to enter Canada, you will still need to meet some specific requirements. If you do need a visa, find out how to apply.

If you are currently a temporary resident in Canada with a valid status (that is, a study or work permit), you can apply for a new visitor visa to return to Canada before you leave.

(the direct link to the webpage is not working well if posted in a reply - so I had to give you a roundabout way...):)

Actually thats the part I am confused with.

I already have a work permit valid till 2017 as well as aor from cic I still apply as visitor?

What should I answer for questions like
1 what to you want to do in canada?

2. How long are u planning to stay?

3. Are you accompanying a family member who has status in canada?

Plz see I am principal applicant so what shoukd I answer yes or no?

There are two types of documents:
- Travel/entry document
- Status document

The work permit is not a travel document. It is a status document - they provide proof you have currently worker status. You cannot use it alone to enter Canada after you travel (except if travelling from the US and/or St. Pierre et Miquelon).

The visa is an entry document, and is used to travel into Canada, especially if you come from a non-visa exempt country.

If you read through the link I directed you - you are not applying for a visitor visa, you are applying for "a new temporary resident visa from within Canada". You are still a temporary resident (a worker is a temp resident), and you are applying for a visa (temporary resident visa) to re-enter Canada upon your return from vacation.

What should I answer for questions like
1 what to you want to do in canada?

2. How long are u planning to stay?

3. Are you accompanying a family member who has status in canada?

Answer based on your circumstances. You should be able to provide answers to these questions if you think you are worker returning from vacation, not a visitor entering Canada.
