TRV (online) applied outside Canada November 2017,Please share your status here!!

Today I received an email from CIC. Checked my Gc key and found that my visitor visa application has been approved and I have been asked to submit my valid visa.

For the information of other applicants, I had applied on 18th November, 2017 and waited for almost 96-97 days for this lucky email..

@Omairi7 What would be the next steps ??

Wow!! That's amazing news. So glad to hear that you received your visa. If you got a request for your passport then go ahead and submit it. I applied just a few days before you so I really hope I hear something soon !!!

I applied online TRV Feb 27. I received 2 emails 1 for confirmation and 1 for submission. Next day i received email about update on gc account. what is this status mean?

well yeah you're right no country in the world takes 6 months to process a visitor visa but Canada does lol....

my mom shes in the Philippines. they say the processing time is 15 days but itsa taking so long :-(

There are some final checks and evaluations after BGc, i know some members on this forum out of 1 was refused after 110 days. .

@Omairi7 whom was the one whom get refused after 110 days? do you know his nationality or if he applied online or paper based?

I have submitted my passport with vfs on 27th feb. Havnt yet received it back. So dont know for how much time it is valid. Will let you know once I receive it back

we have applied on 2nd December 2017 and still w8ing

Dont worry. You will get it soon.. but keep this thing in mind that It may take 90 to 120 days to process TRV
