What did you guys fill in for "Name and address of person/institute youre visiting"? Im already working in canada so I can put my employers address here but what do i fill in for my spouse who's also living in Canada with me. She has an Open work permit but she is not working so there's no employer address.

For you same employer and for your wife just mentioned your residential address.

Hey, how long did it take for tou to get the passport request to be sent to ottawa office, i got it in 2 days and decision says no decision yet.
I will be sending my passport once i write my ielts tomorrow.

it took 5 days to request my passport and have sent last Tuesday,only delivered yesterday so returned tracker is not activated yet.Good luck for your exam.

Do you know how the "Funds available for stay" works in this regard? My spouse isnt working and im supporting her financially throughout our stay but the form requires me to enter a number for the Funds available for stay field. Since im earning salary i have some money in my bank account which i can fill in for my form, but what would i fill in for my spouse ideally?

if you are currently working then not necessary to mentioned but i put 5000$ and for you and for your wife just divide your current balance from your account,

Guys my passport is delivered to Ottawa yesterday so i am checking now through return tracking number still now trackers is not activated,after how many days they would send from there?

My ielts test resul is on 28 feb, and i do not think i will be able to getmy passport back from ottawa if i send it now

Hi Guys,

I am applying TRV ( for my wife - currently on Open work permit) from within Canada, filled out the eligibility questions correctly ( hope so) and once the documents check list is displayed, asking me to upload IMM5257 - Application for Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa) Made Outside of Canada.

Is that the form we need to upload or a different one?

Do you guys think did i answer any questions incorrectly and that's why it is asking to upload IMM5257 ( made outside Canada) ?

Please advice.

Yes that's what it comes so nothing to worry filled that one correctly and do validate and upload,

On 28 Februaruy are you giving test or on that the result comes,if you are going to give test on that date then don't send your passport to Ottwa.If that is your results date then no need passport to receive your ielts result.
I have sent my passport 8th February so still i am waiting,no news at all.

no its my result day, if my scores are better than last time, my crs will be 453, so i am keeping my passport take the result as ielts center needs my passport go give me my result.
So when check my result, will know if i need to keep the passport for result pickup or i should send it for visa stamp.

Hi guys just now I called to cic regarding my passport back and the
Agent told me it takes 2 weeks to process my TRV and they have
received on 14th February.My flight is on 27 februrary so what do
you think I could receive before my flight or should I raise cse and
wait till Friday and postpone my ticket.
please share your experience guys and in your case how long it it took

I'm moving to Canada as a PR. My fiancée is in US as an International Student (Indian Passport). She would like to apply for temporary visit. What is the best way to take this forward? Looking for a visa which allows multiple entries having validity of more than 6 months.

I'm new to this US-Canada route and hence such question.
