Hi, does anybody know if somebody have been in transit through Canada after receiving a transit visa, then would it be counted as travel history or not.

I am a Canadian citizen who lives in Dubai, in June 13 I have applied for a visit visa for my wife and so far there is no update.

I am wondering is there anything I can do to expedite this process.

You can go for a case specific enquiry on CIC to find out your applications status since your application has passed the 50 day processing time mark.
Did you apply online or through VFS?

I've sent a CSE as well as an e-mail to the Abu Dhabi Embassy, and I am yet to hear back from them.

Hi everyone,

I applied on the 7th of this month, did my biometric next day waiting to hear from cic hopefully soon, Although last I checked the processing time has gone up to 65 days.

my girlfriend also submitted her application last week. Hopefully we can get an update the soonest time possible. Processing now is 60 days btw. At least 5 days faster than when you last checked, alirz23
