Hi Guys,
I have applied on 12th June through paper application and then linked my application to myCIC account. Later on 23rd July (Saturday) I received an email that my application has been updated but after opening myCIC account I didn't find anything there.
Is there anyone else whose application has been pending since then. please guide me what to do. I am just sitting with figures crossed.

Do you see any change when you click on the applicant's name? i.e. 'Final Decision' having changed from 'Not Started' to 'Approved?'

Hi no it just says Final Decision : Not Stated.
I tried to check with VFS, they said even May applications are still pending. So when should I expect a decision.

I too am waiting for my visa, I applied on the 19th of June online.
Hopefully you receive an update soon! Keep us posted.

No information as of now. After weekend, I will again contact them on Sunday

I applied june 1 in abu dhabi and has not received any updates. Ive emailed them twice. No luck.

Online application on May 19th and got the visa yesterday. It's a long frustrating time, unable to get much information on the status or updates, but it will happen guys. Just a matter of waiting and waiting and waiting until a decision is made. Emails are sent whenever there is a change to the application status, and there is absolutely nothing you can do until then. You just have to wait and make travel plans after.

The processing time is now updated to 48 days.

Just got an email saying that application has been updated. Logged in to find no updates nor messages.

June 1st: Applied online with confirmation of application submission
July 30: Received an email that application has been updated. No updates found

Hi. Ive tracked my application at the vfs website last july 27 and the message was my documents have been rceived by the visa office. I went there the next day and got my visa approvd until my passport expires. I hope youll get it too soon.

I applied on 14th June at VFS Kuwait and linked my application with CIC account, Yesterday (30th July) received an email saying application update is there, but there nothing change yet !!!

Finger & toe crossed hopefully something positive will hear soon, Pray for me please.

I am in Dubai atm planning on applying for TRV, I have been to Canada previously on a TRV I did leave Canada before my status expired, would like to know what are my chances. I have a valid US visa.

You mean you physically went to the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi or did you get it from VFS?

Hi. I collected the passport at the vfs abu dhabi office. I dont think the embassy is open to the public anymore.
