Previously, I was residing in Canada with a work permit and study permit. I left Canada for one month and during this time my TRV/ multiple entry visa (MEV) expired and so I reapplied for my TRV to come back to Canada. I'm primarily a student but also work in a lab at university in Ontario. I still have both my work and study permits.

My application got processed, and I just got my multiple entry visa stamped in my passport, but instead of getting a student-type visa, the embassy stamped a W1-type visa (Worker visa). Would this cause any issues for me at the border? What kind of documents would I have to show just to be safe?

Thanks

No problem.

Your permits will be required at the border.
