My dad is moving to Canada soon. He has his skilled worker visa stamped on his passport and he plans to move there in April. I want to get a Multiple entry TRV now so that I can accompany him in April and visit him as and when I need to in the future. (also to avoid going for the single entry visa stamping every now and then when I need to visit him) I have 2 questions
1. Is it possible for me to get a multiple entry visa TRV for this purpose? I mean what are the chances that my application for TRV could be refused?
2. Do I need to enter Canada and leave Canada on the exact dates I specify on the TRV application? (Form IMM5257E) Currently his travel plans are not fixed as he can drive there before his PR entry date expires which is in October 2011.
3. If I get a multiple entry visa and don't enter Canada during the specified dates on my initial TRV application, will my visa become invalid because I didn't honor the initial entry dates?
Please advise because I need to plan ahead. Thank you!
