Dear All,

I have valid TRV and now i am planning to apply for my spouse and kids, it would be appreciated if someone help me for following question:-

My spouse (housewife) and kids - Student (under 14) depends on me financially.

1) in application form of my spouse there is a question "Funds available for your Stay" what to write in the column.

2) same question is for dependent children - what should i write in the column of available funds for stay.

I am attaching my financial documents with the applications i.e. Bank statements, Tax documents, proprietorship Documents, Properties etc.

We are planning to visit for 20 Days.

It seems they want to know what liquid funds you have ,which are available for your stay. I repeated the same amount for my kids and spouse in their forms. Worked fine for us , by God's grace.

Thx for the reply.

Seniors please give your inputs too.

Specially Bryanna, Jalex, Bellaluna plz respond.

You should thank CIC officers handling the application and CIC's flexible processing.

Just to add to Jalex23's reply:
You must mention in the cover letter that you will be paying for their visit/all expenses + the available funds must cover airfare, hotel, all expenses for all applicants

@Bryanna Hi, please let me know whether 1000 CAD is enough funds for a 10 day visit (this includes the flight dates, so essentially a 7 or 8 days visit) to successfully apply for a TRV. my wife is the aplicant.

Also, please confirm whether below reasons can serve as strong ties to home country, will add the below information and associated documents in the LOE of my wife's TRV application -

Ties with Home Country –

Ø I am working as a full-time employee as a teacher in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and I am bound as per my employment terms for returning to my workplace to resume my job duties after a short vacation. Please find attached my work-related documents.

Ø My maternal grandmother is staying with me in my home country and since she is aged and unwell, I will have to return to my home country as my physical presence is mandatory for ensuring that she receives adequate care and comfort at my residence in my home country.

@alexhocain it is a private job, the salary is good enough to sustain herself in Bangalore, India once she is back in India
