Hi Sonia I wrote a specific query for my case August 10 and got an email this morning that "There have been no updates to your application (V309731237) since you last checked your account. Thank you for your patience.

You have checked " I would like to receive monthly update about my application". Generic email. check your cic account.

Hi MB I totally agree too this is alongg wait. Visit Visa took like 2 weeks now this is running at 60 days.

I just received passport requests for me and the family at 3:19 PM Dubai time
Hoping all those waiting get it soon too!

Guys i didn't receive any email yet even some forum guys received email updates but inside nothing but in my case i didn't receive any...i applied on 20th june.
Is there anyone who receive approval email without 2-3 update status emails?

Just want to inform you that I received the passport today with multiple entry visa stamped. The whole process took almost 75 days.

I wish you all the best of luck and as a recommendation from my side I advice you to visit Vancouver and Victoria in BC.

Pinger123, I checked on-line and the status was changed to approved in cic Web site. Then I called vfs and they informed me that my passport is available at their office.

MyCic Updated: Aug 29, 2016- Got an update online that it is approved, and closed.
No Updates from VFS- Called them, they said its not updated in their system yet. So thinking I will hear back tomo.
