TRV from UAE applied since June 2016

Hi,
I have applied on 12th June and there is still no news. I have put up case specific letter but again there is no reply. Has anybody got any idea when can I expect my passport. I am an Indian & I have applied paper application and then linked the same with myCIC account. I received an email of update immediately and since then there is no news.

I also applied from Kuwait on 14th June but still no response, Link paper application to online then same story like you. Fingers crossed.

As of August 2nd, processing time is 50 days.
June 19 online applicant here from Dubai.
It's so frustrating but hopefully we get our visa soon!
We are a family of four with travel history consisting of USA and multiple Asian and European countries.

What was the reason they took this decision?

I am a bit concerned too, I applied online from Bahrain since June 14 and received an update same day that my application was received. Since then I haven't receive any update I hear the processing time has been changed from 19days to 30days for applicants from Bahrain. Its my second application after being refused May 30. My vacation is up I cant go even if the visa is issued.

Bahrain's current processing time is 45 days. Your application timeline has exceeded the 45 day limit so you can raise a case specific inquiry.

Hello everyone. I have submitted the online application on June 20tt and haven't not heard back from CIC even though it's been passed 52 days. Anyone else in this situation? I have already requested days off from work during last week of August and have purchased tickets. When I applied the processing time for UAE was 21 days. It's very frustrating to wait for a visa for almost two months. I am planning to visit New york after I visit Toronto and it literrally took me 8 days to get my US visa.... Now I am just waiting for the Canadian visa and my vacation time is approaching fast.

Lalehjoon, I am a Canadian citizen who lives in Dubai, in June 13 I have applied online for a visit visa for my wife and so far there is no update.

Yesterday , I received this email

`There have been no updates to your application since you last checked your account. Thank you for your patience.`

I hope that we receive a response next week since the estimate is 52 days and it's been 60 days since I applied.

Hi Lalehjoon,

It takes a couple of days for CIC to pass on the case specific enquiry to the local visa processing office (following which you will be notified via e-mail).
Hopefully we hear positive news this week!
