TRV from KARACHI refused 1 month ago- PASSPORT NOT RETURNED

My mother's TRV was refused on 7 June 2016, but Gerry's Karachi still don't have her passport. Its been 1 complete month since the refusal.

We DID NOT opt for courier. She went to the VAC, they said we don't have it still.

Is this normal???

no.it is back within one week . email vac and embassy

Thanks. Do they send a message/email when the passport comes back? The VAC staff said we have nothing to do with this, we can't do anything to ask for your passport, we will tell you when it comes

Now its taking long. It took 3 weeks for my father to receive passport. Decision 26 May and passport return 14 th June.

My mother called VAC Karachi and they said the passport has not been returned from the Islamabad Embassy and we should mail them to ask. She then emailed the Islamabad Embassy but no reply!

Its been 40 days today since the visa refusal.

Are there any other steps we can take??

I'm worried they may have lost it!

Yes, email visa office. I think our visa office is abudhabi and not Islamabad. Email them they will reply you. I did the same and ask them but received passport prior to their reply. They also called me in Pakistan to verify about whether we received passport back. Hope this helps

yes, they take some time 1-2 weeks. I used case specific enquiry, dont use the email address.
