Well I think its their normal procedure I got the request also on the very next day and sent them my passport on March 9 so far no update.....

Applied TRV online March 6
Got the Original Passport Request on March 9....
Sent Passport same day March 9....CPP Ottawa received on March 10
Visa Approved and online application status closed March 16


Now see when I will get my passport back with visa....

Sorry for the Late reply guys... Yes i got my passport back. It was pretty quick. in roughly 2 weeks time.

I applied based on Paper inside Canada, it's took 20 days to got passport back.

Does 20 days include weekends?

May I know based from you how long doesnit take for them to process my visa? I'll be leaving for a vacation on April 10 and I am worried it won't makenit on time. Please help. Thanks

Applied - Feb 17
still no response.

Anyone else having the same problem? on CIC website it says processing time of 4 days and mine has already passed 12.

Usually it takes 10 days .....so hopefully you will get before April 10

Hello Everyone,
I applied for TRV from inside Canada on January 25th
passport was requested on January 30th
received by CPP OTTAWA on Feb 1st.

Do you guys know how long does it usually take to process the passport.
I planned my vacation and bought a ticket for Feb 22nd.
Any timelines would be a help.
i have issues with anxiety, so i am not being able to handle the stress thinking I may not be able to make it.

Hi Guys, your help would be appreciated. I Submitted my TRV online on Feb 10th. CIC requested for my passport on Feb 14th, I sent it on the same day. They got it on Feb 16th. Does anybody know how long it would take for them to process the application and send the passport back? what date I can expect to receive my passport? Thank you, appreciate it.
