Just a quick note on Canada Post experience: I requested, purchased and attached the signature stamp, but they did not get any signature! At least I was fortunate that the passport was not lost.

tracking is not activated yet

How many days will it take to receive the passport after the counterfoil is generated.

Passport submitted 30th nov,
Counterfoil generated 6 dec,

Sorry dumb question, Counterfoil generated means ?

When the TRV application is approved and the passport is "stamped", a counterfoil or "visa" is stamped on the passport, and it appears on the IRCC account of the applicant. (so the applicant would know that IRCC received his/her passport and put the visa in it)

I received PPR December 2, and sent my passport which was delivered December 6. I still haven’t gotten the counterfoil yet. Anyone know when I’ll get it?
