Ya...I got study permit extension and it's till July 2021... kindly suggest what to do now

You don’t need a TRV !

If you’re out of Canada and wanna come back and if your trv expired , apply for a new TRV just for yourself.

Like I mentioned Spouses/Family aren’t guaranteed TRV’s.

Also just a question , was your trv rejected as well ? Or just family ?

If your TRV was rejected as well , I hope you mentioned on the application that you had a previous refusal for TRV-Canada.

Yes my TRV was also refused. I didn't mention that in application.But send a web form with the refusal details

You had to mention you were refused for a Canadian TRV, otherwise it might be considered misrepresentation.

I advise you contact IRCC call center and mention the same thing to them.

Because a webform takes 5 days to be answered back to.

I would suggest you contact them immediately.

TRV’s can be processed within 1-30 days in Canada.
Lately some delays but some were processed in 2 days too.

i tried to call yesterday.But they didnt answer.Will try tomorrow morning.Should i wait for the update regarding my trv or can i proceed with the reapplication for my family.

1-888-242-2100 This is the number , navigate through options 3-4-1-0.
IF you aren't placed in hold , try calling again and again till you are in hold.
About your family, I have no idea, they may reject it again.

Apply for CAIPS notes and see why officer rejected your TRV's.
