I received this email today from the travel exemption office, I emailed them from inside canada
Your request to be exempt from the restrictions to travel to Canada listed in the Interim Order to Prevent Certain Persons from Boarding Flights to Canada due to COVID 19, under section 3(1)(b) of the
Order in Council, Minimizing the Risk of Exposure to COVID-19 in Canada Order (Prohibition of Entry into Canada from any country other than the United States) has been refused.
Based on our assessment of the information you provided and the information in our system, we have not found that you meet the immediate family member exemption. In particular, you do not meet the requirements of the COVID-Travel Exemption due to the fact that you are currently residing in Canada. The COVID-Travel Exemption only applies to applicants currently residing outside of Canada.
Therefore, we are unable to process your request for an exemption to the Canadian travel restrictions.
Please note that if you already possess a valid visitor visa (TRV) or electronic travel authorization (eTA), this refusal has no impact on your travel document, and is solely a refusal of your request for written authorization which you require to travel to Canada while the travel restrictions are in place. If you do not already have a valid TRV or eTA and have applied for a travel document, this refusal for written authorization does not have an impact on the processing or on the decision rendered on your TRV or eTA application.
As you are not exempt from the restrictions to travel to Canada, you should not plan or undertake any travel to Canada, as you may be prevented from boarding your flight and/or entering Canada.
I received my Visa today from inside Canada Valid only 45 days, can any one advise me if I can travel and come back ? I am student and my spouse is a protected person and working here.
