I got my pgwp applying within canada but i need to go to India for some urgent work but my Trv will be expired at the time of coming back.
So can i apply for Trv from India as i don't have to apply for Trv from canada

Yes , You will have to apply for TRV from India . You may need to give biometrics in India . Best course would be to apply for TRV moment you reach India and fix up biometrics , if they ask ( which I think they would ) . No airline will allow you to board without the TRV. With PGWP your TRV will be approved.

Will there be any problem in applying TRV from India as many of my friends were saying that it will be risky

The timelines can be to your disadvantage . It may take some time for biometrics followed by approval . These timelines can eat into your pgwp time availability . In my personal opinion I don't think they will reject it . But it can be delayed . Please do search these forums to find out more about this as I am not an expert on this .
