Hi all,

I have applied for my parents TRV to canada from india on May 2020. But since VACs are closed in india we are unable to submit bio-metrics.

1. Will the application still be processed without biometrics?
2.Can we book an emergency bio metric appointment in india with medical letter stating my due date on Dec 2020.?
3. Can we give biometrics form any other country considering that my parents hold a valid visa to travel to Dubai.?

1. No.
2. I don't believe there are any emergency appointments. IRCC won't prioritize your application based on your due date.
3. Yes.

Emergency appointment available only for Vfs appointment. If you book an emergency app. they will ask your proof and report it to the embassy. If your proof is not enough it might effect the decision.

After you complete your visa application you may raise web form and ask for expedition (with a strong reason.)

Due date is not a strong reason. Just had a serious car crash is in the ICU or being in palliative care is a strong reason. Would make sure you are also having a plan B in case your parents can't join you. Your husband may have holiday time or can take some parental leave. Currently only one person is allowed to come to the hospital with a woman to have a baby. No extra visitors. I can't imagine that will change anytime soon. Would add that in Canada men are expected to help out so he can help you with the laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping and changing diapers when the baby comes.

So once we get application no. We get submit web form for expediting? Is that really considered?
