Hi Everyone,

I am Canadian CEC applicant under EE and received AOR and have valid Work Permit. Applying for TR Visa stamping only:
Questions regarding filling Temporary Resident Visa form:
  1. Have you been told by an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office that you are approved in principle for permanent residence in Canada?
- No
2. Do you have a written job offer?
  • Yes. ( I work Full time but don't have LMIA approved job)
3. Does one of the following apply to you?
I am subject of a removal order that is unenforceable
I applied for a study or work permit before entering Canada which was approved, but not issued at a port of entry; or
I am in primary or secondary school, or a visiting or exchange student, in Canada with visitor status.
I am applying for an open work permit under an active public policy or pilot program announced by IRCC.
I am a student who has completed a program of study that is a prerequisite to my enrolment at a designated learning institution with visitor status in Canada; or
I applied for permanent residence and was found eligible (first stage approval) under one of the following classes:
Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada
Humanitarian and Compassionate cases
Protected Persons in Canada
Live-in Caregiver in Canada
- No
Please advice me, if I have selected correct answers.

Thanks Alot!

Hi Atul,
I am also in the similar kind of situation.I have received wp extension and residing in canada. My cec PR application also in process.
Thinking to apply for TRV(passport stamping) incase for emergency/vacation need to travel and return to canada.

Did you think about the case if this TRV impacts ongoing PR application due to dual intention..Applied PR(for permanent residence) and now applying TRV(for temporary residence more than 6 months)...

Please let me know if by any chance we can connect somewhere(say FB) and discuss this point..

TRV passport stamping doesn't impact PR application. there are questions, where you have to select that you have applied for PR.

Have sent you DM
