TRV for Spouse - Paper vs Online

Hi Guys,
I am June 2016 Spousal Sponsor. Got AOR on 17th July 2016.
I would like to apply TRV for my wife from India.

Many of you guys have applied Paper or Online. I want to know if Paper based is faster or Online.

We did ours via paper application. It actually worked out really well for us.

The VAC is not far from where we live so we took our application ourselves. There were really helpful actually at the VAC, they looked over our application real quick to make sure we had all we needed. They didn't look at content really, but just formatting and things like that and they did catch a few mistakes that would've gotten our application sent back if we hadn't fixed them right there. Handed in the passport at the same time.

Got an email a week later saying that a decision was made and to come get the passport. Got there the day after and the visa was inside the passport. We were granted a Multiple Entry

This was at the Guatemala City VAC.

I applied online. Immigration will email you when they need something. Filling it out online is good too as you can see if you need to fill out a space or not. Got the passport back fast too and can track it.

Almost. 30 days and 1 or 2 weeks more depending how fast courier is.

If it says it online that it takes 8 days, then it must be 8 days. Add in a week that you wait for it thru mail.
