TRV for Returning Live-In Caregiver

Hi,

Just a simple question I guess.
Since it says in the guide that application for TRV should be atleast 2 months before going for vacation, I'm just wondering if I can apply now (Nov 6, 2016). I'm going for vacation on the 20th of January2017 and be back after a month. And, what is the usual validity of the visa, is it 6 months?

validity of work visa will depend on your contract's month and year of expiration.

you can apply for a visa anytime soon. if you file it online itll just take 10-14 days

I think the validity of visa will be the same as the validity of your work permit or your passport, whichever will expire first.
