Hello,
I am a permanent resident of Canada, had moved 1.5 years ago. I wish to apply TRV for my parents. I have few concerns related to the financial support and proving their strong ties to the home country.
Strong Ties concern:
My dad is working, so his employment letter and tax papers can easily be provided, Also, he has a property on his name, so he has better ties than my mom. She is a homemaker and doesn't have any individual savings bank account or investment. Also I am the only child, so they don't have any dependent. Should I apply TRV for my mother first giving impression to the visa officer that my mom would return to my dad and then apply visa for dad or Should I apply for both of them together?
Financial supporting concern:
There are two accounts that are in good standing and I would like to mention:
1. My dad has a joint account with me with around 16000 CAD balance.
2. My mom has an account with around 12000 CAD but this one is joint with her mother, my mom being the primary account holder.
I wonder can I show statements of the above two accounts as financial supporting for their visit, though I would bear all their expenses here?
I would really appreciate if someone could answer my questions, have been very confused of how to move ahead in it.
Thanks!
