TRV for Parent - sending and receiving passport via courier to VFS Chennai

Hi all,

I had applied for TRV for my mother on July 24 and got an email for PPR today. I am trying to schedule 2 way courier service for it.

On the VFS website, the only place I found any help regarding the 2 way courier service is by checking the FAQs in the webchat. It gave me a link, but it is for the same page where we can schedule an in person appointment. Should we go through the steps in that page itself to also schedule the 2 way courier service?

It would be greatly helpful if someone who did this recently can let me know how to go about scheduling the 2 way courier service for PPR.

Hi,

Yes, I was able to book the 2 way courier.

https://cicforms.mioot.com/forms/PS/ - here once we go in, we will have to choose 2 way courier option. I was only able to pay for the courier using UPI (GPay). But you can try using an Indian bank account's debit card - many were able to pay using that. Once the payment gets processed, you'll get an email with the Airway Bill Number for the pickup. To the same email there will VFS consent form and Courier/SMS consent form attached. We should fill both of those attached forms and include that in the envelope with the PPR letter from IRCC and the passport.
