For starters let me say hello and thank you for organizing this community.
Here's my situation: My fiance is living in Chile and I'd like to organize for her to come over for a visit. Unfortunately, if she gets refused, that could have a negative impact on the spousal sponsorship application.. So I have 2 questions about the situation..
1) What are her chances of getting the TRV?
-28
-Owns an apartment
-Doesn't have a job but she is a student (doing her final year in university) down there [only one exam left]
-Her address is in a part of Santiago that's like Forest Hill for Toronto
-She doesn't have much of her own cash but I'd provide for food, lodging, internal travel, medical insurance etc.
2) If she gets refused, what is the extent of the negative impact on the spousal sponsorship?
Thank you in advance.
Edit: The TRV would be for a visit only. She'd be going back to Santiago, where the wedding would occur anyways.
