TRV for me and OPW for spouse

Hi there,

I applied for my new temporary resident visa and my spouse's new open work permit on Feb 3, 2015.
My TRV was accepted and have received my passport. Haven't heard anything about my spouse's owp though.
By the time I applied, I submitted our marriage certificate, my post-grad work permit, my letter of employment, my passport, letter of representative (myself), and letter of explanation on my section. On my wife's section they were only asking for her passport photos and her study permit and an explanation letter. I submitted her passport and her study permit but nothing on letter of explanation because I think everything is included in one application.

So the question is, do you guys think that my wife's owp will be denied? We have never got any rejections in five years. I do not know if there are some delays at CIC right now.

Did you include your pay slips? I think that's a requirement. Also your letter of employment should make it clear that your job is NOC level A B or O.
