I really need anyone's advice and experiences applying for TRV from Philippines. I'm trying to guide and help my cousins there apply to visit me in Vancouver this spring/summer, some are still in school (ages 17-20) and some are working (age 22-25).
How long does it usually take after the initial appointment at the embassy? Do they need the original of my Invitation letter (I'm mailing it from Canada). Once they get a TRV, even if they request only 3 weeks to stay with me, technically does the TRV stay valid for 6 months? Or we only find out at the customs port in Vancouver when they get their stamp?
If you have experiences getting approved or denied, I'd really appreciate your feedback and tips.
