TRV famly visit or study permit?

Hi,
i am medical student in pakistan. Want to do clinical rotations with my aunt (at her clinic) who is a doctor in toronto also i'll stay at her place in toronto.. which catogory visa should i apply for, family visit or student? plz help me i m really confused as someone has advised me to apply for family visit and get invitation letter from my uncle and (aunt) and acceptance letter from my aunt's clinic as well..what should i do now?

If you want to do clinical rotations while in Canada then you need a work permit (even if you're not going to be paid).

you mean work permit visa?if i get acceptance letter from clinic and apply on famil visit type and show them acceptance letter?

No - the letter from the clinic isn't enough. The clinic will also need to obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion:

Unfortunately I think there is pretty much zero chance the LMO (labour market opinion) will be approved.

It is almost impossible for foreign students to participate in unpaid internships or clinical rotations in Canada - unless they complete their studies in Canada.
