TRV extension 69days!! not enough time.

Hi,
I applied for my husband's TRV extension while we wait for his PRV to come through (hopefully!) I applied online sucessfully. I followed the link to processing time and it said 69 days! His TRV expires in 6 weeks! So what does this mean? I have to send him back to Thailand if we dont have his TRV processed in time???

I have emailed them at the address provided and they said it will take up to 3 weeks to respond ???

As long as CIC has received the application for extension of TRV before the date the current one expires, you are fine. The instructions recommend you have them receive it at least 30 days before your current one expires. You said yours expires in 6 weeks, so you should be absolutely fine. When your current one does expire, you are on implied status until they contact you otherwise for the decision on your extension.
