TRV Expired . Need to visit US for business.

Hi,
I need to visit US for business and my TRV has expired.
I have read in cic website that we can visit US on expired TRV.Just wanted to know if some of you guys travelled to USA on expired canadian TRV . Anything specific they ask in immigration for this case ?

Giving more details about your current status and situation will help in giving u a better answer.
Anyways in general to enter into canada you need a valid trv (assuming u r not from a visa exempt country).

Then don't travel on an expired TRV.

It is not only CBSA you have to worry about. If you are flying you will have to convince the airline to let you board with expired documents. They don't like to take any chances neither....

I am on a valid work permit that expires in 2017.
The cic website states that if the TRV is expired but the work permit is valid we are allowed to travel to US conditioned we don't exit US and return to Canada from US.
I want to know if somebody has already travelled to US on expired TRV ?

1. As you work permit is valid, you can travel to the US and St. Pierre et Miquelon as long as you return to Canada before your work permit expires. I assume you have a US visa.
