TRV expired, need to go back to india urgently

Hello frnds,

I am international student in Canada. I have just completed my studies and got post graduate work permit. Due to some family problem, I need to go back to India urgently, problem is my TRV is expired. Can any one please tell me what are the options I have to apply for TRV ? I know I can apply for TRV from delhi, but someone suggested that there is risk involved in doing that as in some cases people with similar situations did not got TRV from embassy in new delhi. If any one had same experiene or otherwise, please suggest.

well sorry to know your situation but you do have a lot of options but it depend how much time you have i hope you have two weeks as you can send you TRV application to pilot-ottawa it takes 14 days i think currently for the paper applications its your only way from inside canada and sucess is almost guaranteed and yes cic/cbsa has troubled people with these sorts of things i read few examples of it and have answered few others as well, if i was you i would get a TRV and go,

Thanks a lot James. In case I am not able to wait for 20 days in Canada, how difficult is to get TRV from outside canada. If possible will you please share links where I can check which problems were faced by people who applied TRV from outside Canada.
