Nope it doesn’t, mine took 5 months to be approved

The fact that you are sponsoring a nephew and not a spouse will make it harder to get TRV.

That's true. There is higher priority where a spouse is involved.

It is actually quite difficult for spouses to get approved as well.

Where did you apply? The new IRCC portal or GC Key? Also, do you mind sharing what supporting documents you used? I am planning on applying for my wife via GC Key.

I applied last year October with the new IRCC portal. I uploaded my bank of statement n that of my husband, wedding certificate, proof of employment, additional pictures of the both of us, and a letter from my midwife

I am a December 2021 Outland Paper Conjugal applicant from Philippines. I applied TRV using the new IRCC portal last April 3, 2022 and until now the status says "Submitted".
