Asking for a friend;-)
He applied for Trv in sydney australia where he is a PR but he is a citizen from egypt. He got refused based in his travek history, financial support and they think he wont go back to australia.

I think he got refused because he didnt provid enough details, he botched his application based on the simple fact the he is PR of australia and has a job there and some of his friends in the situation got the visa easily few years ago.

I believe if he would file it properly as i told him to he would get the trv.

1) he didnt provid his letter of employement stating he holds an engineer position in a city council which is a permanent position. He insread provided the hiring letter from july 2019

2) he showed over 20k USD but his bs showed it was transfered from a friend as "rent" when it actually came from his egyotian bank account. But since its hard to get money out of there he had to do it through a friend. But I think he should have showed a bs from his egyptian bank account showing the money was his.

3) he didnt show proper travel history. Just copies of his hold passport showing he traveled to malysia ans lebanon. I think he should have list all his trip supported with flight ticket for exemple.

4) he didnt show his ties to australia like his imolicstion in the community has he is not married or have kids or own a house.

5) He screw up forgetting to sign a part of the family form.

6) he just stated he was coming for tourism.

7) he had a flightticket to return to australia
Do you think it woukd worth it trying to apply again? Or should he get professional help?
Why the VO thought he would leave canada... Who would stay in Canada when you live in Australia where there is no winter lool.
Thanks

Guess people who hate poisonous snakes , insects , droughts , scorching heatwaves , horrific bushfires that destroy towns &kill a multitude of people , enveloping whole cities in choking smoke for weeks at a time , maybe that’s who
People would rather deal with winter
Thanks

He is from Cairo, smoke isnt so bad compare to their polution. But jokes aside, he would have applied to migrate to canada if he had wanted to live in Canada when he migrated to australia. and with his level of education and work experiences he would easily be accepted within the express entry program if his goal was to come to Canada to stay.

My question was mainly, with the application filed correctly, does he have a chance of being accepted for a trv or should he just forget it?

He doesn’t have very strong ties to Egypt and it is generally quite hard to get visa approval from a 3rd country. He doesn’t own property or have Dependents in Australia that could create ties. He also doesn’t have a good travel history to countries like US, Europe, etc. His proof of funds would have also looked suspicious if there was one big transaction. He didn’t submit a good application either. He should have provided proof of employment, lease, etc. Assume CIC is also concerned that he is not an actual tourist and he may be meeting a partner and may want to get married in Canada. You can certainly try again but his profile is not very strong. Would order GCMS notes but there is no need to hire a consultant or lawyer.

if your friend had taken professional help in the first place he would have saved a refusal and your time on this forum. timing and right decision is all.
Using a lawyer doesn’t mean the person would have been approved. There are quite a few reasons why OP is not a strong applicant.

Actually he did travel a lot to europe and us, but didnt mention it which was stupid of him.

Its funny how these people are always super suspicious. If i was him i wouldnt go to canada and get married when i have a permanent job in a government. He is an engineer, it would take him forever to be able to work once here

Anyway, thanks for your anwsers. Much appriciated.

Suprisingly he wasn’t caught or he could have received a ban. There are quite a few people who arrive in Canada, get married and apply for inland sponsorship.
