TRV - Business Visitor Visa

Hi Forum,

I have applied through paper application on 14 March through VFA for Temporary Resident Visa to attending a training seminar but till yet no reply about my Visa apporoval.
I simply get the below message

Visa application, tracking ID xxxxxxxxxxxxxx is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, BANGALORE.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

I was expecting i will get a Visa within 10 days as it was a business visitor visa but unfortunately no reply yet , Is this normal ?

I simply get the below message

Yes, it is normal. Canada does not have expedited processing for business visas.

The current estimated processing time is 18 days for India applications. Actual processing can take longer than this.

You can try linking your paper application to your online account for more updates:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/link.asp

Once you do this, all notifications will be only through your online account
