TRV buffalo_7 weeks since application received HELP!

Any one can help me or have similar situation. I am on work permit and have applied for TRV visa (sent my application to buffalo office) as I wanted to go visit my family and come back. I have mailed my application on June 30 and it was received on 8th of July, till now whenever I write them e-mail they send the generic response "your application is still in process...."
Any idea how long more it can take???
