Hi all,
I applied for a visit visa online on 03 September 2019. On 4th September I got biometric request which I completed on 5th of September. On 11 of September I got correspondence letter as well the letter requesting my original passport. In CIC portal, final decision stating as approved. I submitted my passport on 12th September.
My question is whether my visa is approved or refused?

lol didn't you say you read the decision and it is saying approved...….so why would you think that means refused?

Second since you applied online and they are asking for your passport its approved. They wouldn't waste time in you handing in your passport just to refuse you.

What did you send for the TRV? I would like to try for my husband while his outland PR is in process. Did you send any extra things other than what is on the application for TRV?

Eligibilty and background check is still in progress. But final decision was application approved and request letter for passport was attached in the CIC portal. So what bit worried.

I would say your chances are above 90% if they asked for your passport and plus your status says approved. Something would have to terribly wrong for you to be refused.

Thanks a lot for your valuable responses. I got a call from VFS to collect my processed passport as well I can see counterfoil details in my CIC account with document number and expiry date.

Hey Krish121089,

When did you apply for spousal PR, is it inland/outland? And what reason you provided for your TRV?

Thanks,
