TRV approved 5 days to depature date

Submitted online application for TRV.
Got approved/passport request on Friday 28/03/14.
Have a flight on the 4th of April.
Question-
Can I travel and send my passport from my country <Nigeria> to Ottawa for stamping?

I doubt that Ottawa would return it to Nigeria

Thanks PMM,i intend to send it back to my son,and my son will post it by Canadapost with a return envelope back to my Canada address then my son will not post it back to me in Nigeria by Canada express post.spoke with Canadapost already.
