TRV applying next week from Dubai( FSW rejected on initial stage in 2012)

hi Friends,

i am applying for TRV next week from VFS dubai. i want to visit canada in sept this year.what are my chances to get TRV.
my FSW immigration application rejected by London VO due to NOC mismatched in 2012.since than i never apply for immigration and i am not
intrested any more in that.

should i have to mention the rejection in background information question 2b.if i mention that than this can be resaon for rejection now for TRV.

i have prepare travel intinary for visiting dubai to canada (toronto,montreal,quebec).canada to switzerland(zurich,bern etc). swiss to dubai back.total 30 days visit.15 days in canada and 15 days in switzerland.

i am single and working in banking industry since last 10 years in dubai.previously travelled to France,Austria,Greece,Malayasia,Turkey,Cyprus in last few years.

You must state the FSW refusal in the visa application form. Your TRV application will be assessed for its own merits.

Do provide proofs of the Schengen visa/Switzerland visit.

You must provide provisional hotel and flight bookings along with a day-by-day planned itinerary of places you will visit, etc and prove you have the finances to cover the visit.... if you do not have an Invitation Letter + relevant documents from family/friends in Canada


You must demonstrate your strong ties to Dubai (employment/financials/family in Dubai/property ownership or lease agreement, etc).... your previous travel history will also help

i quick question..i havent applied for Swiss visa yet.i am thinking of apply for canada visa first than to swiss visa because i will go to swiss after my travel to canada.should i have to apply for swiss visa first to satisfy the VO.my travel plan is Dubai to Canada to Swiss to Dubai.i have booked my ticket in same way from swiss arilines.

if i go to swiss embassy first than might be they can ask that i am travelling to canada first than i will come back to swiss.

whats your advice.

You must apply for the Canada TRV before you apply for the Schengen visa.... because you will be visiting Canada first.

The Swiss Schengen visa may take a few weeks to process + the current processing time for a Canada TRV (UAE visa office) is 14 days.... these timelines are only a guide and will change depending on the visa application.... so do keep these timelines in mind if you book tickets

today i got my PP back with 2 years Multiple entry visa.it take 5 working days to get visa stamped.

thankyou Bryanna for your detailed help.i i did same wht you have suggested.i provide them travel,hotel booking,detailed travel itiniary,prood of funds etc.

i have 1 question. after i exit from my first visit from canada in sepetmber this year,how soon can i return back again for next visit.as im planning xmas visit to a friend in vancouver.

its winter,snow in all over canada but vancouver can have only few days of snow.

Hi Amit,

That's fantastic. Happy for you Is the validity of your TRV until your passport validity?

You can return to Canada anytime. Your entry into Canada + the period of authorized stay will depend on the immigration officer you meet when you visit.

My advice is to carry documents/evidence of your ties to Dubai + finances.... each time you visit.... just in case you are asked for these.

t hanks again for kind advice you give me now for as a visitor to carry relevent documents..

no visa validity only upto 15-july-2017.my pp valid till 26-jan-2024.may be my resident visa to dubai only upto 08-May-2017.so they give validty upto july-2017.

i dont know..anyways i get visa thats important...
