Hello,
Can you advise which is better? Apply for the whole family or individually.

Do they weigh the family's documents as a whole or individually? Meaning if one doesn't pass the requirement, do they reject everyone automatically?

Here are some details:
1) Father - Self-employed (has business), 54 yrs old, >10000 CAD in bank, travel history: Malaysia, Thailand, Hongkong, Singapore
2) Mother - Self-employed, 50 yrs old, >10000 CAD in bank, travel history: Malaysia, Thailand, Hongkong, Singapore
3) Daughter 1 - employed on same company for 3yrs (Singapore), 29 yrs old, >10000 CAD in bank, travel history: Malaysia, Thailand, Hongkong, Macau, Singapore (current residence)
4) Daughter 2 - student (will be on her last year of college), 19yrs old, no money in bank, travel history: Malaysia, Thailand, Hongkong, Singapore

Total family assets (business, houses, real estates, cars) = >400,000 CAD
Mother's brother: PR and will provide invitation
Duration of Visit: 2 weeks
Family is on Philippines except Daughter 1 is working in Singapore.

We're just concern with Daughter 1's tie in home country and Daughter2's lack of financial funds on her own.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Application is to be made as family but individual forms are required to submit together and the visa will be issued individually. If any member is rejected, others will too will not be rejected if they meet the requirement.
I am not sure, in my own view, the 2nd daughter's case depends to the decision of the visa officer as her close and strong ties to home country to be proved. The embassy may doubt she will overstay in Canada.

4) Daughter 2 - student (will be on her last year of college), 19yrs old, no money in bank, travel history: Malaysia, Thailand, Hong kong, Singapore

Thank you for the response wilson!

So you were saying that if foe example Daughter2 doesn't meet the requirement, the whole family can still have the visa except for her?
