Hi, I applied for a TRV on September 1st but I still have not received a passport request. A lot of people who applied after that time have already got passport requests. I was wondering if anyone has any advise regarding this, should I resubmit my application?

I'm not sure if you have seen the update from IRCC about visitor visa's on September 7th. They have a new portal so many applied after sept 7 and got their VISAs. I applied on June 20 and also again on Sep 12 but still no update. I guess everything with Canada VISA is luck these days. Some might get soon some takes years. May be based on the IRCC officers or not sure really what's going on with Canada VISAs. At least they should tell us if picking up the VISA is something a random process like US H1B lottery process. Its just we have to wait. Good luck!
The new portal is not for inside Canada TRV applicants, we have to use GC key secure account.

My hubby applied on aug 29th , it got approved on 4th Oct.. check ur documents once. If anything can be updated ,access the webform
