guys finally approved today. TRV for me and open study permit for my son. Phew..
Time Line :53 calander days or 38 working days(roughly excluding sat and sunday)
Applied from HYD through VFS HYD (all doc + passport+ medical etc)and sent to B'lore on 12th July Paper Based
Application received in B'lore 12th July
Got 3 Ack letter. 2 for me and one for kid(25th, 26th July and 6th Aug)
Sent a mail to B'lore VO about the status. They have not replied till now.
Today morning status changed to
"Final decision Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details"

No there is no holiday on Monday look at embassy holidays list the holiday will be on 13 sept

My son is in pre School now. Just turned 6. I don't know the procedure exactly but it seems after landing there we have to apply there for admission in school and the concerned department will give us some school options in our localiity. Then we can take admission there because it's a open study permit

If ur passport has been dispatched it means they have taken aa decision on profile if u not received refusal mail on ur email id it means ur Visa has been approved
